The Southern Regional Festival, hosted by Area D, is an opportunity for all interested members in the Southern Region to freely and openly explore our Declaration of Unity ahead of this year’s general service conference, through the theme of:
How Can Alcoholics Anonymous can remain unified and relevant into the future?
Each of the day’s 5 interactive sessions will explore a challenge we face moving forward. Southern Regional Trustee, a Class A Trustee and Area Delegates will be attending.
PROGRAM:
10:00 AM: DIGITISING A.A – How technological challenges could impact A.A. now and into the future.
11:15 AM: A.A. NEXT GENERATION – Growing our membership and welcoming more ‘A.A. friends’ via public information.
12:15PM: LUNCH – FEAST AT THE FESTIVAL!
1:15PM: A VISION FOR US – The current and potential future structure of A.A. Do we need to change?
2:30PM: HOW A GROUP CARES FOR ITS MEMBERS – The power of the Group Conscience in making decisions that benefit member safety and well-being.
3:45PM: INTO ACTION – How we can make change in A.A. via the power and process of conference topics.
